Summer Health Career Institute/Career Shadowing
The Summer Health Institute is a unique experience for high school students that are interested in exploring health careers. Experiences include exposure to a variety of health care professions while staying on campus and exposure to the Health Sciences Center in Denver. Students are introduced to life on college campus, exploration of a variety of health careers, tours of health care facilities and discussions regarding career options. The WCAHEC Counselors will work closely with the students to ensure a worthwhile and fun experience. There are limited numbers of spots for this institute so students interested in participating are urged to contact their school counselors early or contact Georgia Hoaglund at ghoaglund@wcahec.org
